Is called "Tecra (2nd Edition) 2014.0.0.119.osd" The guids are all different for each one, and I can't see anything inside the osd file that looks the same and would cause SCCM to skip over the file. one osd is named "Tecra (2nd Edition).osd" another is "Tecra (2nd Edition) (1).osd" and the one which is missing I'm wondering if this is to do with the facts that the osd file names are similar, but they are not exactly the same e.g.
Even though these two shortcuts don't appear in the published tab, I still though that they would be distributed though since they are in the applications installation folder - obviously I'm wrong on that one. Also when the application is deployed, these two shortcuts do notĪppear in the publish applications tab. All the logs look ok, it tranfers correctly and appears on the DP's (however, it is missing the two osd files). The Appv application is deployed and sent to the DP's without error.

We have been distributing Appv applications for many months now, and I have just come across one application which is missing a couple of osd files on the DP, so when the user tries to install the application it fails due to not being able to find these I have one SCCM 2012 sp1 cu2 server with four Distribution points running on W2k8 R2 server. If anyone has the list of Operating system requirements for a DP running on Server 2012R2 it would be appreciated also. IISSSLState in the SCF is 480. SMS_DISTRIBUTION_MANAGER 11:20:13 5096 (0x13E8)ĭP registry settings have been successfully updated on SMS_DISTRIBUTION_MANAGER 11:20:42 5096 (0x13E8) It displays as a site system with a role of Distribution point but distmgr.log does not display any activity except Point, nor can I see any configuration on the SCCM console.
I'm having some issues with a new Distribution point. This is my first Server 2012 R2 distribution point and after installing the roles and features (I believe are required) the distribution point does not install. I guess of course I could force the "older" updates to install in a package which is a pre-requisite to IE10 but trying to avoid this since if they are all in the WIM file then there's no need
My question therefore is there an easy way to find out the latest updates required for IE10 without having to start with the "old" listed updates and manually find out (I'm looking in the WSUS console) which update(s) have superseded it I'm sure that with some digging you would find that as of today the missing updates have been superseded and therefore you could check and make sure they are downloaded and added into the wim image I subsequently found IE10 fell over because some of the prereqs were not present

I had an issue the other day - that actually turned out to be a non issue! - where I decided to go back to the base WIM file and rerun offline servicing.
With IE10 app I have ensured that necessary prereqs are patched in the WIM image via offline servicing - all fine
